Ashley is around the same age as Laura Michele Kelly (maybe a year or two younger). Julie Andrews was 29 when she did the movie.

And they cast her as Mary, not "casted".

speaking of on the record, ive tried looking all through itunes and i cant find it. do they sell it? (or other places where i can just buy her songs and not the whole cd?)

I bought tickets for the show near the first preview. I'm so excited to hear her sing live, love the B/B clips.

hopefully I'll be able to get to the city to see her as Mary...I miss simply being able to go to CCM and see her perform in shows there! She's incredibly talented!

Gavin Lee is no more less well known than Ashley Brown on these shores. I imagine Brown will be billed first, since she's playing the title role. They'll probably both be on the same line, but Brown's name will appear first.
