OMG! She was amazing belle I ever heard and seen in my life. She is energetic and sweet person,too. Have you guys seen her on stage? I can see her in Ariel! Is anybody knows what's her plan after Beauty and the Beast? Does she has any web site?

I fell in love with her the first time she ever came onstage in On The Record in Cleveland 11/09/04. Good thing I got her autograph...I knew she would be a star!

I saw her in Beauty and the Beast and she brought the house down! She's definetely a star! I can't wait what she does next also!

i believe her contract runs through may....i think that's what she told me. she grew up in my hometown and comes back as often as she can to visit. i've been so blessed to grow up listening to her sing in my church and community all my life. she's always been my performer role model and always knew she'd make it. not only is she amazing performer (i got to see her in both "on the record" and "beauty and the beast"), but she is such a sweet, humble person who hasn't forgotten her roots.

Ashley Brown is a horrible actress. She does have a great voice, however you should have heard her for the first two weeks she was in the show. She used to crack, a lot. Yes, a CCM trained student used to crack every day for two weeks.

Every single Belle brings the house down at Beauty and the Beast. If you want to see a good Belle, try asking Susan Egan or Sarah Litzinger to come back to the show. Her understudy, Ana Maria Andricain is better.

Ashley Brown on a Broadway stage is less than brilliant. She looks ridiculous. She does have a beautiful, beautiful voice - lucky for her, Broadway is currently in a place where only voice seems to matter these days.

Her Voice is in great shape and has been since day One
The original orchestrater came in to re arrange "Change in Me" for her and they did not do that for any other Belle
and her acting is just fine

Hi, yes, I do work for Beauty and the Beast, but you won't find *ME* selling dolls at intermission. That's for the kids who make 8 bucks an hour, and they're not in my class at all.

I remember the day we changed the end of the song. It's called the "On The Record" version. Not to mention, that song was WRITTEN for Toni Braxton. So maybe they changed the end of the song to fit her wonderful range, but they certainly did not write a completely NEW song for her. Disney wants to turn Ashley into a super star. Think she'll be playing Mary Poppins? I doubt it, and so does she. I don't know what YOU are so offended about, Ashley can't act. Big deal. Brooke Tansley couldn't sing, and neither could Christy Carlson Ramano, but they were Belle. Shoshana Bean was the first replacement as Elphaba and she sounds like a strangled cat when she sings. I have no personal problems with Ashley Brown, I'm stating my opinion like you've stated yours. And don't throw her voice in my face, I never said she had anything other than a remarkable voice. However, that's all she's got.

Strangled cat? Hardly. Shoshana Bean is a highly skilled vocalist.

I'd be careful throwing such harsh opinions around, especially with a name like "100% Trash."

I'd be careful if you knew who you were talking to. I'm not attacking you for your opinion, dearest, so do not belittle ME for your opinion. And I am 100% trash. Luckily for me, I'm paid well for my opinion. The girl got hired, didn't she? I wish you wouldn't get so touchy over a person you've never met. Besides, Ashley Brown DOES look awkward onstage. And you wonder why we have rehersals every Tuesday.

Why does every single actor and actress to date have to be the best? Has the world gotten to where they can find NOTHING wrong with ANYONE's performance? That every single note every single day (sometimes TWICE day) is brainlessly perfect? I agree - to see Ashley once is very, very good. She has a beautiful voice (are you just ignoring that I've said she has a beautiful voice?) but to see and hear her every single day and to witness her ups and downs - I have developed an opinion based upon experiences that you have never had.

Wow...do you have to be so harsh? She isn't the greatest actress, but I don't think she deserves that kind of bashing. Most people seem to really enjoy her and at least she is a good role model for the young girls coming to see the show (unlike several other Belles in the past). And...yes...the girl can actually sing. She has a beautiful voice and doesn't scream sing in her nose like many of todays little Broadway stars.

And I agree that Ashley seems to be a good role model. I think it's a good thing that we have wholesome shows on Broadway. I vote for more.

I've seen Ashley a couple of times and think she's quite good. MUCH better than Brooke T. was. Brooke could not sing it at all and made Belle seem like a mentally challenged "special" Belle. Obviously you work in the show Trash......yeah, sure, put on one of the understudies like A. Andricain.....I guess she would fit better.........a 40 year old Belle with a middle aged Beast.

The green eyed monster springs to mind 100% Trash. Ashley may have ups and downs but so does every professional. No one is perfect 100% of the time. She obviously has an amazing talent, otherwise one of the biggest institutions in the world would not have put such faith in her.
