Assassins

I just got the 1994 OBC and I really want to do the monologue "Have it Your Way", but I have NO IDEA what the staging is supposed to look like or who the character is talking to or anything. Can someone help me out?
I know this groc'ry clerk...

re: Assassins

Isn't he actually talking into a tape recorder? He made tapes and sent them to a bunch of people, in his first monologue he's making a tape to send to Leonard Bernstein, in the second isn't he making a tape for Nixon? And he's in his car (well, he was in his car at least on the one I saw, or at least sitting in a chair with a steering wheel in front of him.)

re: Assassins

The local theater production had him talking into a tape recorder while driving. He was wearing a Santa suit.

Actually, I'll be seeing Mr. Byck in about two hours when the curtain goes up for the production of "Assassins" that I'm in here in Chicago...We have him driving a car while speaking into a tape recorder (I'm pretty sure this is how's it's supposed to be done according to the script). So basically, he's just sitting there.

Exactly- and don't forget the big box of tapes for other celebrities. That's at least how we did it here- we also had a gun laying on the seat next to him.
