they could at least have had the decency to let the performers finish the show. afterall, it's been running for months. they almost cited the cast too, and not just the manager. thank god they didn't do that.

Okay but honestly, isn't there some kind of contract that has to be signed between the city and the theatre that allows the actors to appear naked on stage? I mean it just seems like there would be... not should be, but would be... even though it's not blatantly pornographic like strip clubs it is still a show for adults and I'm sure they still need that license... it's their fault for not making sure all the legal issues were taken care of.

Well I think they should take down all this filth and nonsense. I mean - after all, it's Christmas and those boys should be required to dress appropriately. Maybe little angel wings and halos......

(How DARE God create all those little dirty bits on people? Leaving us poor humans with the onus of keeping them covered and hidden....)

My question is why the show was being performed at a bar and not a theatre. Had the show been at a legit theatre, then it probably wouldn't have been as easily targeted, but in a bar, I could see how Atlanta Police would think of it as "adult entertainment". And why did they wait so long to shut it down? Did they just realize it was performing? Since the show does not simulate sex or does is not physically sexually suggestive, it cannot be considered adult entertainment and will probably reopen, though I would think it wiser to transfer to a more legitimate theatrical venue.

I can't believe that the Republican national committe viewed it as inapprpriate. Quick question...would naked girls singing have been closed down?

The only production photos I have I look AWFUL. I'm either really red or ghostly pale. The pale pictures earned me the name "Porcelana" amongst the cast. What's worse than doing a show with 7 other gay men? Doing a show with 7 naked gay men. Talk about drama!
