I'm auditioning for Thoroughly Modern Millie on Monday and was wondering if anyone could suggest a good audition song for Jimmy or Trevor... I've played Cornelius Hackl, Harold Hill, Gaston, and Schroeder recently so I think my voice can handle either...
So I was thinking Without Love/ or It Takes Two from Hairspray
or maybe Goin' Down from Hair (the Gavin Creel Version)
or All I Care About from Chicago...
thoughts?

Parislove, WHY would you go into an audition with pop-rock material for a show concerning itself with the roaring Twenties? I mean, think about it for a second.

Posted: 4/26/07 at 2:18pmHow about "When I'm Not Near The Girl I Love" from Finian's Rainbow? It's baritenorish, funny, and old-school.

The only problem with Be Like the Bluebird is that it's not supposed to be sung great. If you want to use something from ANYTHING GOES which I'm doing at my school right now actually
I would personally choose another song...
