Just because they are making a pilot doesn't mean it will ever air or become a regular series. That said, being on the WB where they will put just about anything on the chances are good.

Actually Nathan had two shows that failed.

I like Audra, I think she's a spectacular talent. But I want to hear more information on the show. "A college professor in a New York City school" sounds like a rehash of Boston Public on a college level.

Well I don't think there is enough info to make a comparison. The only thing we know is they are both in schools...That could mean anything for the new show. I hope it goes well. It'll be the only reason why I'd watch the WB

Why don't you think she can act? What have you seen her in and why do you feel that way?

I think she is one of the best Broadway actresses I have seen. I think she's very natural. I'm just curious what about her performances you don't enjoy.

She is a rare combo who can act in plays and sing in musicals.

Yeah, I totally agree. I mean I think even in that Annie movie she is great. She's surely a double threat*, and I tell you I'm a critic and don't let me love of her singing voice overpower my opinions of her as an actor. Sure, she isn't quite Meryl Streep, but few are really.

*Someone who can truly truly have a career in both professions indifferent of each-other. I think this and triple threat are words that are often thrown around too much. Many performers are really good at two and ok at another or their talents are inflated.

A Side Note: but if she had been at the Wall to Wall thing yesterday, I would have met all my major idols at once and I could have died happy. (The other two being Joss Whedon and Sondheim)
