That was great and Letterman was terrific with her. He sounded like some Broadwayworld nerd going down the list of her Tony shows and asking her about memories. I'm glad for the heads up in this thread because she wasn't listed in my dvr guide.

A bit awkward, since Dave just sort of ran down her credits and asking her what she remembered about each, but it picked up a bit when he started talking about Billie Holiday and Lady Day.

If you think him reading down a sheet of paper for nearly the whole segment wasn't awkward then that's fine. Once he got up to the present and stopped reading, it seemed better and more like a conversation to me. Audra was fine the whole way through...
