I heard a rumour that The Producers and Hairspray are both opening in Australia in March, 2004. Does anyone have any info on this?

i havent heard the outback but everyones heard Toronto.. we shall wait and see... i think it would be fun to have a translated production of HS in germany or japan. Have like a Sumo Wrestler as Edna lol

yes, on the website for the australian producers of Hairspray, they already have the show icon up and it says 'coming in 2004'

I had read on another site where it was published in Australia that The Producers will open in Melbourne at the Princess Theatre in April 2004.
