sorry if this is posted, I didn't see it anywhere--did anyone catch Ava from RENT (maureen) and I forget the other girls name..shes new-- on the Today Show this morning. They say TMOLM.

Ava Gaudet and Kenna Ramsey, you mean? Yeah, I did. They were great. They weren't on Today, it was before that. But Victoria Clark was on Today! Yay! She looked so cold, though.

It actually only aired in New York. Apparently, it will be available soon on Ava Gaudet's website.

Oh, and Kenna Ramsey is hardly "the new girl." She's been in Rent off and on since 1997.

I saw her when she was in the tour cast of RENT when it came to Birmingham, Alabama.......you know she could probably could play Elphaba....but she's kinds short.

Is Kenna Ramsey back? Darn, I was hoping to catch Merle Dandridge when I go on the 29th. Not that I don't like Ramsey, but I have seen her twice (the past two times I have seen the show... it's been a while) and I was hoping to see someone else.

Idina is 5'4", too. Ava's roughly that height. :) But I agree, I could totally see her as Elphaba... or at least HEAR her in the role. I don't know about her acting chops.

Kenna's been back since the beginning of December...Merle left cause she's going into Tarzan!
