July 3rd. Well that is a long way off.
So stop talking about it until July.
Thank you.
Oh and honey. The theater is packed.
99 PERCENT FULL.
PS Maybe Jen or Amyee will be the new Kate. They are also SPECIAL.
But it still is depressing.
Any other good news.
Anyone leaving Forbidden Broadway.
Night.

"NO FOA.
NO NO NO NO.
I hope you are wrong."
Ha, for a second I thought you were upset that Barret was taking over the role Corine.
I have some general quesitons about the people who are/will eventually be replacing the OBC. Are the voices done the same - or as close to the same as they can get? Since they are puppets and the puppets stay the same is it weird if a different voice goes along with it. Its like when they change the actors doing voice-overs on cartoons. Its just weird. Watch an early episode of a show (umm, Rugrats i guess - I dont know what other long running shows are out there) then watch a more recent show. Its weird.
So in my long winded question, how does it work? I saw the show on the 5th and while there was a new Christmas Eve, there were no new actors playing parts that had puppets.

Everyone does it differently.
My Kate is pretty good. I have to say it is impressive.
My Lucy on the other hand SUCKS ROTTEN EGGS.
I have seen Amyee do it and Jen. Both are excellent and different then Steph.

Each of the Q puppets has a particular voice that the puppeteers have to master.
Obviously, many of the Q characters' voices are loosely based on Sesame Street characters (Trekkie=Cookie, Nicky&Rod=Bert&Ernie, Kate=Praire Dawn...etc.)and it's essential that the actors maintain at least a semblence of those imitations.
When Barrett was on Seth Chatterbox, he talked about what a beast it was to cover for Rick Lyon and demonstrated his Trekkie, Nicky and Bad Idea Bear voice. They were freakishly good.

Wow, Steph has been very busy, she did the reading for "Another Saturday Night in NY" and had to dash off to do the show...she was great, btw. Keep your eyes out for this one. Stephanie and Colin Hanlon were great during the reading.
I talked to Jennifer Barnhart yesterday, she said she's in the show till July. I'm not sure whether that means she's leaving, or if her future is unsure after July....

hmmm. .. what is his show about. . .what does he do? I don't have the chance to actually go to NY and see it for myself and I think that was the last of his Ad-Liberty shows.

It is very cute. I saw it at Joe's Pub last year.
He did some of Phoebe Krutz(sp) music. Phoebe is the puppet wrangler and a very talented songwriter. She is also funny.
He also did Taylor the Latte Boy.
John is clever.

Ruv you oodles Star2B
I was there for the last three... Johnny is so clever, I agree.
Sunday was great because Jen was there as well, she wasn't at his first 2 on Jan. 3rd.

It is always crazy. Don't get me worked up.
During the blizzard it had over 200 people there.
Myself included.
I assume it will be crazy for years.
SUCKS TO BE POOR.
