I'm just asking a question
B/c I would like to be their closing night and would prefer to not sit in ROW G of the mezz if possible
I'm just waiting for good seats to pop up

A New York transfer of the Doug Hughes-directed LA production of OLEANNA starring Julia Stiles and Bill Pullman has booked The Golden for a limited run in the fall.
The West End revival of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES is said to be looking at the theater for a spring opening.

Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

Wow. I am tearing up.
It is absolutely my favorite musical of all time, and I can go see it time and time and time again and laugh as hard as I did the first time. And, I think I lost pounds from laughing so hard.
WoW. I am sad, but I realize it was bound to happen, soon than later.
Life goes on, full of surprises.

Good HEAVENS. Avenue Q aside, it's quite remarkable to see how certain posters truly have become overstated parodies of themselves.

Bummer. Is it closing the night of Broadway on Broadway?
kchenofan's computer is broken right now. This is her fridge. Now, you can leave a message, but say it slowly, so I can write it on a post-it note and stick it to myself.

It's sad that one of my favorite shows is closing, but it is of course not unexpected. We've all seen the grosses dwindle in recent months, and we knew this day was coming sooner than later. Six years is an incredible run. "Q" truly became the 'little show that could.' Who would have thought that a show with puppets (not ABOUT puppets) would upset WICKED for the grand prize at the Tonys AND go on to become the 20th longest running show in Broadway history, outlasting such juggernauts as THE PRODUCERS and ANNIE. Truly incredible.
I saw the touring show (with the brilliant Rob McClure) for the first time early last year. I have literally never laughed so much in a theatre, be it for a movie or a live show. And I'm excited to be able to see the closing Broadway cast when my friends and I take a trip to the City in July. I think I'm as excited to see their reaction to it as I am to see it again myself.
We got five tickets in the lowest price range (rear mezz). But we're in row D, which, according to the seating chart I saw, is just four rows up in the balcony. I know this theatre is relatively small. While row D certainly isn't as good as front row orchestra, are they decent seats? Will we have any trouble seeing the action (and I do mean action..haha) on the stage?
Thanks...! And congrats, Avenue Q!
p.s... Way to go, Jen Barnhart! Kudos on being with the show for its entire run!

I'll miss this show quite a lot since it was my second Broadway show. It is bound to be revived at some point, though, so the ending isn't too bittersweet. And how can you complain after they've had such a great run?

I'm glad this amazing show lasted this long. Thank goodness for the Best Musical Tony, it's obvious Wicked didn't need it to be successful.
