Avenue Q Stage Door

This may be a stupid question, but do the puppets come out of the stage door? I saw that Avenue Q posted on their Facebook or Instagram for people to share their stage door experiences and it had a picture of what looked like the puppets coming out of a stage door taking picture with people.

They do pictures with the puppets during Broadway Cares weeks. Their stagedoor is on 49th. The puppets don't come out there. The pictures are taken inside on the Orchestra level of New World Stages.
