Also caught the tour in Baltimore last night.
An overall excellent company, and the show was right on target. Jennie Kwan (NBC's Saturday morning "California Dreams") did a nice job covering Christmas Eve, and fellow Asian cutie Minglie Chen was a scene-stealer as the Bad Idea Bear. Loved Benoit in Vegas, loved him here. And Sawyer remains my favorite Kate Monster.

I just saw the show in Baltimore, and I agree with the previous two posters. The only negative is that the Hippodrome is about 2000 seats, and I do think the show got a little bit lost. I kept thinking to myself, this is probably sooo much better when there are only 800 people in the theatre. It was hard to "connect" to the puppets, as I couldn't really see them.
I just asked the same question and then read that the money donated during goes to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, so yes, it goes to a good cause.

Posted: 3/10/08 at 2:05pmI see it is coming to Fort Worth this summer. Yea! It will play in Fort Worth prior to going to Dallas for once. I think DSM is avoiding it because it is not family friendly enough. Casa will present it at Bass Hall. They do shows that DSM think are too risque' like Urinetown, Full Monty, and Avenue Q. I think it will sell well in Cowtown because of that. Lots of Dallas people will likely go over.
