ah. thanks theatrefan. hmm. i definitely like what i hear on this. but the sound quality seems kind of poor from the audio...

anyone who has seen the show have any input...?

PGenre & I seeing it tomorrow night. Not together though. He's already being a negative Nancy about it, but I'll give a report tomorrow night.

john, the sound quality would vary based on the venues set-up. that clip was from a syracuse talk show, so i am unsure. the sound was great in buffalo. the clip sounded fine to me

oh yeah. it didnt sound bad. they didnt at least. i really liked their voices. i was just saying i bet they sound better in person and not with some crappy sound system at a local tv station.

I absolutely loved the show! The whole cast was brilliant, especially Lisa Helmi & Jackie Grabois.

My only complaint is that Jason Heymann's Nicky voice would on occasion turn into his Bear voice.

good to hear everyone's so awesome.

one of my friends who saw it in buffalo said his blue bear was the most original she had seen since the opening of the show, (she's seen the show 7 times) not to mention the funniest version of the blue bear.

not that it's coming from me, but she also said she loved this brian's dry sense of humor.

i am so glad this cast is awesome. just goes to show you equity or non-equity means jack when it comes to talent.

I thank TheaterFan4 for convincing me to go.

Out of over a hundred tours of this type I have seen, this cast was near the top of the list. EXCEPTIONAL. Band was excellent as well. Production values were top, top notch for non-eq.

But I HATED it on Bway, particularly because of Tartaglia and Harada's cloying performances - P.S. I dealt with all the grief 4 years ago making that statement so please save it this time! - and thought then that WICKED was a better musical in every way, though neither is anything beyond "good" or anywhere near "great." Still hate the show and actually I find the score and book even WEAKER on this return visit.

Wicked wins. And it says A LOT that WICKED - of ALL shows - is the better show... not a lot of other shows I can think of would I include on THAT list besides THOU SHALT NOT - and even then!

Saw the tour tonight in Richmond. The cast is EXCEPTIONAL. The audience was loving every minute and I had tears streaming down my cheeks the whole night (partly from laughing and partly from some unexpectedly touching moments in the show). I was blown away with Brent Michael DiRoma and Jacqueline Grabois's performances. Absolutely amazing. I encourage everyone to catch this tour. First rate all the way. (And I'm in love with the Bad Idea Bears! lol)

I just read that Brent Michael DiRoma is only 20 years old. What a remarkable talent! We'll be seeing lots more from him in the future I'm sure.
