Avenue Q question

I saw Avenue Q on Thursday night for the 1st time and I have a question about the cast. It says that there were two ensemble members, however I never saw them. Are they backstage the whole time??? What's their roles/parts???

Yes the Ensemble members spend most time backstage helping to perform Mrs. T and the multiple Trekkies among others. During the Money song, they run into the Mezzanine with Princeton and Nicky.

They come out during "The Money Song" in the mezzaine to collect money. The emsemble also acts as Trekie Monster during "The Internet is for Porn".

Wo, I totally had no clue they bring puppets into the mezzanine at all during the show. I've always been in the orchestra. That's so cool!

When I saw it on Broadway I had to get mezz seats. Felt so cool and suprised when they came...I felt like an idiot giving a dollar. Then I foung out it was for charity and when I saw it in vegas I gave five at each show.

I didnt the first time, but the second time I gave a metro card to Christmas Eve, and when J. Tart did the Joke, Ann Harda said, I got one too, you want to go on trip? SO FUNNY!

The ensemble also sing backup off-stage during some of the big group songs

Horton, what a hilarious ad-lib! It seems like they can improvise their way out of anything that happens during the show.
