Hello,
I think I waited to late to get avenue q tickets. Telecharge has a ticket for rear mez. I am going to NY March 15-19. Are there any other ticket places to go to like telecharge to purchase a reasonable priced ticket? Or can I stand in line at the ticket call or something (never done that before, so I don't know how that works.) Thanks for all the help.

I think at this point, your best chance is to try the last minute rush line. Show up outside the Golden Theater 2 1/2 hours prior to curtain and put your name in the bucket and wait for the drawing 2 hours prior to showtime. (Have cash on hand, they go for $26.25 each I think. You'll need ID as well.) Otherwise, go with the rear mezz tix on Telecharge. Everything else will be close to $100/ticket.

Good luck

Avenue Q isnt at TKTS, and it's a pretty popular show, so rear mezz is probably the cheapest you'll get or only seats without paying full price for front orchestra..
Rear Mezz are REALLY good seats..if you have any questions about them, PM me, cause I sat there and they were GREAT! You can also try for the Ave Q lotto, but its better to have your rear mezz seats and then you can sell them if you win the front row lotto ones :)

And the other thing about the Phantom Lady was, Bert, she realized, in the city that never sleeps... What did she realize, Kitten? That all the songs she'd listened to, all the love songs, that they were only songs. What's wrong with that? Nothing, if you don't believe in them. But she did, you see. She believed in enchanted evenings, and she believed that a small cloud passed overhead and cried down on a flower bed, and she even believed there was breakfast to be had... Where? On Pluto. The mysterious, icy wastes of Pluto.

ditto to what GirlforTartaglia said. Buy the rear mezz tickets. You can always still try the lottery and if you win try to sell your rear mezz seats to someone else on line. The theatre is small (the smallest one housing a musical) so last row is still fine. A nice amount of people usually show up at the lottery on weekends and they only draw 12 seats (6 names) so I wouldn't rely on that

I also sat in the very last row of the rear mezz. The view was great! Totally worth the $45 if you are able to snag tix.

But when did New Hampshire become--Such a backward wasteland of seatbelt hating crazies?...I mean, only 40 people actually live there. The others are just visitors who come for the tax-free liquor and three inches of novelty coastline. John Hodgeman on The Daily Show (1-30-07)

Ah, Rear mezz Avenue Q tickets...reminds me of my first Broadway show...which was Avenue Q on Sunday. I had 2nd to last row Rear-Mezz, and they weren't terrible. While I would have preferred closer seats, they really weren't as bad as I expected. The theater truly is tiny-and you won't believe it until you get there and see it for yourself. For half the price of what people sitting about 10 feet in front of you are paying-it's WELL worth it. Go for the rear mezz and do the lottery. I wish I had done the lottery..
