This means nothing for certain I know, but it sounds like they are giving out the signal that they don't plan to close anytime soon.

I love the show and hope it will stay on broadway forever.

I agree. Keep in mind that just because they are selling tickets until a particular date still means that they could theoretically announce a closing before May 9th.
