Is it true she left? :-/ I saw her in for Jennifer along with Christian Anderson. She was incredible in...that role. :-/ haha

Aymee was amazing in Les Mis. I also met her and she is extremely cool - even when someone gave her a look and a grunt when she said that Diana already left the theatre...

Aymee is amazing but does have a different take on the role. My general feelings towards her is that she plays Kate more as a Tracy Turnbladish character, meaning that her take on the role is more optimistic "laugh at herself" kind of take. I do believe she has a stronger belt than Stephanie, who I believe has more of a "mix voice". Her Fine Line was heartbreaking and beautiful. Her Lucy is SMOKING HOT and when I saw her do "Special" I seriously thought the audience was going to give her a standing O.
To be brief, if you see Aymee, she will not disappoint

I love her!

I am so happy my two final Thenardiers are back on Broadway (not to mention one of my favorite (M.) Thenardiers!)

She performed on Broadway on Broadway last year.
She was great.
I have also met her a few times and she is so damned sweet.
She is cotton candy.
Love her.
The whole cast of Q are just amazing.
Not a mean one in the bunch.
Aymee is extra sweet and so is Steph and Jen.
Jen is who I want to see as Kate.
I tried to win the lottery the day she was to go on but I lost.
She cracks me up with Twistletwat. She is hysterical.
And super nice.

Jen is an absolute angel and works like hell in that show by basically being ALL of the onstage ensemble

Aymee is great as Kate. I agree with Broadwaystar's review of her, she hit it on the nose. Aymee is fantastic. What a voice!
And Jen, Jen is just incredible. Absolutely fantastic. Love her. She and Rick really do move like they're dancing, they're in perfect sync. Jen is incredible. Can't gush enough about her.

What many people dont know is that she does double duty as understudy and ASM
When she has Usually understudies for Stephanie and Jen, BUT (if i am not mistaken) has also been on as Christmas Eve!

I ususually don't post on Q threads because I love the show so much I can't think of any new phrases to praise it or its astonishingly talented cast.

But I had to put my two cents in to praise Jen & Aymee. Thenardier hits the nail on the head by saying that Jen DOES IT ALL and doesn't get enough credit. And Aymee doesn't get enough chances to strut her stuff. A real knock-you-on-your-ass singer!

I really want Jen to do a solo concert at Ars Nova or Joes Pub. I actually prefer her Kate to Stephanies. Apples and Oranges...

And yeah, these gals go up and beyond the call of duty in being sweet and friendly to fans. They're the best!
