Hi there! I was wondering if some one could help me out. I will be throwing a party and I am wanting to hang up posters from diffrent shows every where. Is there a place where i could get posters for not too much money (as i will be buying a lot)? Or is there a place where i could buy a bunch in bulk? Thank you very much!
Try eBay... you can usually pick up posters there for semi-cheap...
Triton Gallery was having an in-store only $1 poster sale a while ago... not sure if it's still on... but it was really obscure shows. If you're in the city, def go to Triton Gallery... you can get slightly damaged posters (aka a TINY little crease on the corner) for like under $10...

Yeah, the "damaged" bin at Triton Gallery is usually pretty good... I have gotten several PERFECTLY GOOD windowcards in there for very cheap... and they have a TINY LITTLE defect... such as a little bent corner... I can deal with that...
How big do you want them to be? I hopped over to ebay and entered "broadway poster" into the search and got a lot of results, very pricey results ranging from mid $20s for the original size (14X22). Not sure how big it is but an 11X17 was selling for about $3. Shows like Wicked had a $50 price tag.
The streets of New York have lots of stuff. I got a very nice framed picture of the DRS logo for around $9.
I believe it just moved, or is about to move. There was a thread, I just can't recall what street it's on. Any help?

From their website:
Will be opening July 17 at our new location: 630 9th Avenue, New York, NY 10033
Will they still have cheap minorly damaged posters or was that just because they were moving?

WOW. I didn't know about the damaged bin at Triton. That's really great. Does anyone know (roughly, of course) how far away the new location is from Times Square?

I found a website that has pretty reasonable prices for window cards

Triton's $1 bin is the best bet. Trition is moving, and closed untill July 17. It moved 1 block away to the film center. 44th ( i think) between 8th and 9th.
