How IS LITTLE WOMEN? I know BKLYN is mixed/not so good/nice fanbase, however I have only heard LW is excellent from a friend, who is biased.

If Sutton wins the Tony, maybe it'll stay open a little longer.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

*a-HEM* CapnHook~

Me? Biased? Never!!
I LOVE Little Women, but I do realize that it isn't a masterpiece. A large part of what makes me love it are the performances (especially Sutton's). The songs, I admit, are not that memorable the first time, but I do really enjoy the score, and I love the OBCR. You should go see it for yourself. I'll take you!!!

Of course it will. No question. Definitely won't hurt it.

It's too bad that Little Women hasn't been able to find it's audience. There's just something about this show that I love. It's the only show I've ever gone back to see again. I know Sutton had a lot to do with it, but the show itself just enchants me. And the cast recording is oustanding in my opinion. So that just goes to show that you don't have to be a little woman to enjoy Little Women.

Little Women really is enchanting. Even though it isn't really exciting like some shows, it is my favorite show currently on Broadway. And I read somewhere that the weekly running costs are only about $275,000. If that's true, the show really hasn't lost any money yet.

I enjoyed Little Women. Not an amazing show, but definitely enjoyable. I especially loved Sutton Foster and Maureen McGovern.

I saw LW on bway and it was;t even hardly worth seeing it the first time much less a second the only reason I bought the cast recording just to get the songs out of my head

Badkarma-That makes no sense. Getting the cast recording would get the songs even more stuck in your head. Fine if you don't like the show, but why spend the extra money? The songs would have left your head eventually.

Structurally and book-wise Brooklyn is terrible. As a musical it is dismal. But as a display of raw vocal talent it is absolutely one of the top shows on Broadway if not THE top show on Broadway.

i really love Brooklyn. I talked to one of the producers and it should be ok through July but lets hope sales go up... There are a lot of fans who love it, and i'm sure alot more would if they heard some of it's music or gave it a chance... i've seen many broadway shows, i study theater and i know a lot of people who hate it, but most of them are older.. i know a lot of younger crowds would love it if they actually knew about it. I hope they dont give up on it since they just spent the $ on the movies playing Brooklyn music as well as Delta planes.. If anyone here is reading this and is unsure if they want to see it, just give it a chance... tickets are not that much money and there is a discount code... check it out for yourself...

i'm sooo exicted about the brooklyn tour, i hope it comes to pittsburgh and philly... my friend is dying to see it but she cant afford to come to NYC
