I think it sounds crazy, but it handles some very important issues.

This piece is extraordinary from the music and lyrics to the performances and direction.

I think their plan right now is to focus on the NY Off-Broadway run and see where that leads them.
I would love this NY run to last as long as possible, hopefully into awards season so they can still be around for recognition.

Then I went over to Splash for a lil Musical Mondays and Scott Nevins who was presenting a performance by the BASH'd boys. I finally got to meet them and they are the greatest guys. Very sweet and in awe of the great things happening for their show. And that makes it all the better--seeing two very sincere, talented people getting much deserved success.
I am very passionate about this show because not only do I feel like its one of my all-time favorite pieces of theatre, it's a vibrant piece of activism for the LGBT community and all that we are fighting for from California to NYC.
This excellent piece of theatre fulfills both passions for me.
Here's to a great run!
