Friend bought tickets, does anyone know the approximate run time of it? If you went last year, how was it? Curious, Thanks
THE EASTER BONNET COMPETITION is this Monday and Tuesday at the Minskoff.
From the BC/EFA site:
Reputed to be the hottest ticket on Broadway, THE EASTER BONNET COMPETITION features a parade of bonnets hand-crafted by the casts and crews of dozens of participating productions. This annual spring event is the culmination of an intensive six-week fundraising effort by the companies of Broadway, Off-Broadway and national touring productions. Curtain speeches, sales of autographed posters and programs, auctions and cabaret performances are just some of the activities that enable these companies to bring in generous contributions from audiences.
Honors are awarded to the companies that raise the largest amounts of money on behalf of BC/EFA during the fundraising drive. Companies offering the best designs and presentations of bonnets are also recognized.

I went last year, and it was the most amazing show I had ever gone to. Prepare to be starstuck and have alot of fun-there are theatre actors and stars everywhere!
It is sooo much fun!!! In my recollection it ran pretty long b/c it done without a ton of rehearsal so I think some of the scene changes and transitions took long, so maybe 2.5 hours or so with an intermission. Have an amazing time! Im so jealous!

Thanks Bettyboy, The seats are not the greatest, up in the Mezz, but it is a good cause. There are still seats available, for both shows, day of at the box office, also on TDF.
