What is the reasoning about previews vs. not? I'm not familiar with the thinking there.

I think it has to do with shows being really busy with rehearsals and such during previews that they don't want to organize the collection until after opening.

Aladdin has signed posters for $100 and "You Ain't Never Had A Chef Like Me" aprons for $20.

Here's one of the more unique collection items I can remember seeing...opportunity to go on stage and have a picture taken with the cast of Mothers and Sons on set. Offered through BCEFA via ebay

People have been to Bridges since opening, safe to say they aren't doing it by now.

I was just at Bridges tonight. They have buckets out to collect $ but are not selling anything.

Thanks….I guess this means that Bridges is getting going a little later and soon will have stuff to sell. As for Les Mis, since it just opened on Sunday and with such a large cast, I guess it may take them a few extra days to have everyone sign things and get organized. Hopefully there will be something soon.
Has anyone heard about Rocky or All The Way?

Beautiful has playbills now for $50 in addition to the posters.
Any update on whether Aladdin still only has posters and aprons? I'm going next week and am hoping they have playbills soon.
Well, the best you can hope for at Aladdin would be a "Showbill," as they don't have Playbills at all.

There are prints being sold at Lion King and at A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder that are signed and all limited edition. Take a look at the website.

Here is a little info tour wise ... Saw Evita a week or two ago. They had Programs for $40, Posters for $80, and the Money kept rolling in buttons. Thought $80 was a little high for poster of a tour, but got one because it's one of my favorite shows and it was my first time seeing it. Saw Ghost in Charlotte tonight. Maybe it was because it was "Opening Night", but, they had nothing. Seeing the tour of Jersey Boys this coming Thursday and Wizard of Oz next week. Hope they are both doing something.

@Haterobics. I have a Playbill from the first preview of Aladdin. Not a Showbill. So unless they changed Broadwaycat is correct.
They switched to Showbills after previews.
I went last week, and there's a discussion about it in the Aladdin thread somewhere.

Bump…any updates about shows participating?
ROCKY, LES MIS, ALL THE WAY, IF/THEN, etc. Thanks!
Ghost wasn't collecting when I saw them on tour this Saturday- they prob. just aren't collecting- is the tour Equity or Non? if Non, then that is probably why.

I was planning on buying a signed Pippin poster at Patina's last performance on Sunday and was informed by an usher when I got there that they do not collect on Sunday's. Is there anyone that would be willing to purchase the poster on my behalf? I can paypal you the cost of the poster + shipping (I live in Philadelphia). If anyone would be willing to do this please PM me or e-mail me antoinemiller [at] me [dot] com Thank you!!
I like the Mothers and Sons photo idea - First Date did that last fall, and not only was it fun standing onstage looking out at the house, but Krysta Rodriguez and Zac Levi were absurdly generous with their time and made it a memorable experience.
