My thoughts on this whole thing.

I may never get why some cool shows and/or talented people have such a bizarrely passionate fanbase, while others (in the same league artistically) seem to fly under the radar.

Examples of the former- Aaron Tveit, Idina Menzel, Ramin Karimloo, Sierra Boggess, Newsies, Be More Chill, Laura Osnes, Heathers, etc.

Someone ought to do a psychological study of this...I'd pay money to read it.

I'm sure this will go the way of Heathers. It will have a cult following and do well regionally with high schools/theaters. And that's the reason for mounting an off-Broadway production.
