I think Disney is a producer, especially with the entire creative team being involved with the production. The reviewer seems like a real twit.

The female ensemble's shoes don't match. Pet peeve. Come on, if it's a publicity shot, take care of the details!! At least put her on the end!

I am the same way, but i am forgiving of this picture since it is a very safe assumption that this is just a pic from tech rehearsals in order to give the first city or two a few shots to use. I know that the "official" photo call for production photos is scheduled for today.
I do want to see this.. from the few pictures of full stage sets and costumes for this tour, I am pleased. the sets are VERY different, but nice.. and the costumes are stylistically the same, but still quite different.. particularly the Lumiere and Cogsworth costumes that I saw..
