"...Never underestimate the self-destructive persistence of theater people who just can't bear to part with a terrible idea"

Oh, it was divine.
Okay, not.
Into the Light had its moments, though. I actually liked Dean Jones. But that imaginary friend/mime character was painful. And those "state of the art" laser beams.
Ok, let's dream cast Encores! INTO THE LIGHT and RAGGEDY ANN!!!
She can play the LIGHT.
And Raggedy Ann!
And of course Raul Esparza as Dean Jones.
Raul Esparza needs a great role like that to make people forget all the crap he's done lately.
Into the Light could definitely pull him out of his rut.
And into the light!
I can see him now, belting for all he's worth, while running around the stage in a lab coat!
Nothing says, "perfect thing for a musical" like the Shroud of Turin.
Long Live God! On A Shroud!
SIERRA BOGGESS should play the Shroud!

Someone better make sure there's a Broadway house available for the transfer!
"But no star can carry a show that asks whether God is dead in a manner that's likely to bore Him to death if He's not."

Poppycock. Fela has nothing to do with God's bedsheet or a quirky ginger thing.
They should cast Laura Osnes in Fela.
