The role of Betty in The Actors' Fund's April 4th reading of SUNSET BOULEVARD in Los Angeles will be played by the fabulous LAUREN AMBROSE.

As in "Six Feet Under" Lauren Ambrose? I didn't know she sang! I just looked her up online, and realized that she is a classicaly trained opera singer. Who knew? She's adorable.

As an aside, though, Lauren Ambrose actually CAN sing. She's a classically trained opera singer, and she sang What A Little Moonlight Can Do on an episode of Six Feet Under in the first season.

She is an amazing actress. In the reading of ALL ABOUT EVE last year she played "Phoebe" - the girl at the end who will become the next Eve - she had that one scene - and she killed - people walked away talking about her. She will be a great BETTY.

2 more cast - one to go. Frederic Forrest will play the Beverly Hillis Homicide Detective (with Charles Durning at his side as the Hollywood Detective). Robert Morse will play Jonesy. So - who will play the Repo Man?!?
