I live 45 minutes outside the city and the forecast calls for 45 degrees on Sat and 50 degrees on Sunday. There has been no snow mentioned on any of the local news or radio stations. I know they have been pushing that Seattle Times article, but it has nothing to do with the Northeast at all. If anything, I think we get more rain/sleet later next week.

Don't worry. Rob and Craig will move it, but now you know. I've accidently done it once or twice, but I didn't know if you knew about the OT board.

I don't like snow...it is cold on my legs. Although Sand can tend to get a bit too warm.

The snowstorm we had in Chicago was pretty big. Most snow I've seen at once since I moved here in 2001. Next week is supposed to be in the 50s in Chicago. The weather here is just plain wacky.

I heard the same thing here too! Only I live in Ohio and the waitress at Ruby Tuesday's told us we were going to have 10 feet of snow.

Then she told us that the apocolypse was on it's way. So I'm not so sure.

I fly to NYC this tue......sigh

The theatre is one of the most expressive and useful instruments for the edification of a country; it is also the barometer which makes its greatness or its descent. A theatre which is sensitive and well oriented in all its branches from tragedy to vaudeville can in a few years change the sensibilty of the people; theatre which has been destroyed, in which cloven hooves take the place of wings, can put to sleep an entire nation. A people that does not aid and encourage its theatre is moribund if not dead; the theatre which does not gather to itself the best of society, of history, the drama of its people and the genuine color of its landscape and its spirit, with laughter or tears, does not deserve to call itself theatre, but rather a place for that horrible thing which is called killing time.- Federico Garcia Lorca

We had over a foot here at home right before Christmas and where my school is got hit with that really bad ice storm the other day. 135,000 people without power, but luckily power has been restored where I live so I should be good when I head back up Sunday. It sounds like power won't be completely restored until sometime midweek. I am not looking forward to the cleanup though. Part of my living where I do involves me doing four hours of cleaning and my area is the grounds. loud buzzards

It's pouring like crazy in Rhode Island.
