Trying to get tickets for Wicked?
(Or, is there really a blizzard? I live in the Midwest, we just had our own, and I haven't seen weather reports for places outside here lately.)

Posted: 1/6/05 at 7:41pmuh... are you serious? cause I live 45 mins east of NYC in CT and it's supposed to be like 40 degrees this weekend. And its only supposed to rain... unless the weather channel is playing games or something.

Just checking/being silly.. I never know if people are being serious or not.
You're probably getting what we just had, then. Good luck handling it - it didn't shut anything down (minus some schools), but it was nasty to tread through when it was first coming down.

Posted: 1/6/05 at 7:46pmYou might be hearing about what was dumped on the northeast today. We had a lot of snow/ice/sleet today. But I really don't think there will be anymore this weekend.

Posted: 1/6/05 at 7:54pmIt's actually true. I was just about to post here to ask if anyone had heard about it. I heard it's supposed to go Saturday into Sunday night. And around 6 inches or more.

Yeah... they've already changed the forecast for Seattle... no snow down here, but hoping for snow in the mountains to go skiing.

I'm hoping for 6 inches or more Saturday night, but I haven't heard anything about a blizzard.

6 inches is nothing. It's a normal snowfall. You put on some boots, shovel your walkway, clean off your car and go about your daily business.
With as warm as the streets are in NYC thanks to the subways, it'll be more rain and slush (read: an annoyance) than anything else.
And PhantomPhan -- Do you think I just pulled that temperature out of nowhere? I live here, I think Im more than capable of checking the weather and seeing what it's supposed to be like here this weekend.
