BWW Exclusive: Jeremy Jordan in concert; sings 'West Side' and zings Weinstein

Jeremy Jordan just headlined a Broadway charity concert over the weekend in San Francisco. Besides singing his signature songs from ''West Side Story,'' ''Bonnie & Clyde'' and ''Newsies,'' the Tony nominee also dished about Arthur Laurents, Harvey Weinstein and Chita Rivera. And recalls the time he wore women's pantyhose.

Anyone remember that ''Forbidden Broadway'' parody about people who confuse Chita Rivera with Rita Moreno (or vice versa)?

Here's a variation: Two weeks ago, I reported that Jeremy told a funny story about his literal run-in with Chita Rivera at the Tonys.

He said Chita, frightened by an onslaught of male dancers running offstage, grabbed Jeremy and said, ''Save me!'' ... Turns out he meant to say that was Liza, not Chita. So we've updated our story to include Jeremy's cute correction/mini-apology at the end.

Jeremy Jordan, of ''Newsies'' and ''Supergirl'' fame, is sometimes confused for two other celebrities who have the same name.

As Jeremy notes on his Twitter: ''Google me. I'm not the 90's pop singer/model. I'm also not the gay porn star. I'm the other one.''

Plus, Jeremy says he was born Jeremy Jordan. The others weren't.
