Here in MA, polls are open from 7 am until 8 pm. And if you are in line by 8, you will get to vote.

Not saying who I am voting for and maybe it should be kept that way on this thread...
just to avoid conflict. Politics can get violent.

But truly either way I'll be happy...both are highly qualified for the job and I trust both of them with the position. Their running mates however are a different story...hate both of them.

Anyway, VOTE. VOTE. VOTE.

Whoever you're voting for, just go out and DO IT.

There are a few here. They shall remain nameless. Don't want to embarrass them anymore than they already have been. So, you love the Republicans, eh? This party makes HUGE tax cuts on the WEALTHIEST Americans! I think the richest Americans should pay HUGE taxes. They can afford it. The richest 2% of Americans should be taxed, taxed, taxed on EVERYTHING. They should be taxed more than 50%, 60%, I don't care. Make them give all their money to the state, I don't care. Also, Republicans are fighting AGAINST health care for everyone, same-sex marriage, abortion, and countless other things. The Republicans claim that their philosophy is "less government," yet they are soooo active in trying to make sure that there are government restrictions on same-sex marriage and abortion. Republicans fuel terrorism. It's true. They start it. EVERY terrorist attack since probably the 1970's has been a result of the Republican Party. They claim to be "protecting themselves", but it's not securing or defending yourself when you just invade a small country that did absolutely NOTHING to you. Rich Republicans, I HATE YOU! You can pay taxes, you just don't want to. The single mother working 3 jobs just to put food on the table can't, though. She deserves the tax cuts. Not you, with 5 houses and you wouldn't even care if you lost a few!

Facts
John McCain forgot how many homes he owns. He was reminded later that this number was 8. Barack Obama owns one home.
Obama owns 1 car and it is a hybrid. McCain owns 12 cars, in total, all of which are guzzling and wasting so much gas.

That shows the difference between the two. Don't get me started on Palin. She believes that Creationism should be taught in schools. Her church invited Jews for Jesus to come over, and they said that Israelis are responsible for the terrorist attacks on them because they don't believe in Jesus. Palin did not object to this. She stayed in church the whole time. In fact, her minister/priest/preacher said that the Jews for Jesus speaker who said that would be WELCOME to come back! Palin is against abortion, EVEN in cases of rape and incest. At several McCain-Palin rallies, racist Republicans have yelled the N-word out, in reference to Senator Barack Obama. Palin just keeps going with her speech, though. Doesn't denounce that vulgar, racist language.

You joined 2 days ago. You have no right to say ANYTHING negative towards me, you don't even know me! A German Obama musical! That'd be interesting! It'd have to be in Berlin. The Berliners LOVE him, especially after he came there in July (or was it August?) Are you a Republican? A lot of BWW'ers are liberal Democrats, and for the most part, we agree on major issues. I'm sorry if you disagree, but you can say it in a BIT nicer way. Try again.

Getting back to the topic at hand: GREAT link in the article providing information on the propositions that are on each of the state ballots. I am grateful for the work of the League of Women Voters in making sure that everyone who has the right to vote is able to do so, and to make informed decisions!
