The reviews from Buffalo (which are inexplicably positive) indicate that there are projections, and no mention of a non-existent set in any of them. The only photos I saw were from the OBC. Perhaps the show has visually improved on tour. Too bad they didn't scrub any of Shaiman's ridiculous score (and his nonsense insertions into the few movie songs they did use).
