I saw it last week, It was absolutly stunning. The music is brilliant, and the acting is superb!
oh...oh god! You're hideous!!!
It looks SO interesting. I would love to see it. Richard Maltby Jr. is an incredible director (and writer for that matter).

Well if that video is any indication, I wouldn't call the acting superb.

It looks like a local college production.
I think it looks intriguing. Also from the short clips that I heard the music sounds good.
Sorry double post.
I loved the movie, if only for my sick sense of humor and the fact that Rocky is a counselor at a blind camp. Interesting choice for a musical I must say.

I saw it this evening (well, a late afternoon matinee that seemed to finish when it was evening) and it was definitely stunning on one spectrum, and bizarre on another. There's just something about seeing Rocky Dennis brought to the stage that's, for lack of a better term, just plain creepy. I could hardly watch the film when I first saw it, and it's just odd seeing the the disfigured face in person. Call me insensitive (although I don't think I am), but he gave me chills.
Acting and music-wise, though, it was fab. But just too creepy being twenty feet from that face... bah.

Wasn't Greg Evigan on "MY Two Dads"?? I loved that show!
Oh, James Sims I like your voice a lot. :)
I went to see Mask with trepidation, expecting to hate it. I was pleasantly surprised to see a show that was superbly directed and designed. The acting was fantastic and the songs were very enjoyable late 70's rock. Despite rumors about pre-recorded music someone had spread on the internet, the show does have a fantastic 7 piece live rock band. Michelle Duffy should score a second Ovation award for her portrayal of Rusty. Her singing and acting are Broadway ready!
