I just checked the website and it lists Marty as the male swing, as well as speciality skater. They also gave names to ensemble people. They fixed the website up from the last time!

I would assume that Kenita Miller covers Mary Testa, Anika Larsen covers Kerry Butler and Jackie Hoffman, and Curtis Holbrook covers James Carpinello and Tony Roberts.

I wouldn't be surprised if Andre Ward understudied Carpinello, and if Kenita understudied Kerry as well as the other roles.

Has anyone caught when Curtis lays on the floor in the opening number he does a pocition that looks hard to hold and him and Mary smile at each other. haha. i know lame but I caught it when I just re-watched it.

yeah, they look like they're laughing about something. Also, has anyone seen the same video at Broadway.com? It's basically the same with some added/subtracted stuff. I love Mary Testa!

So have I! I've actually been singing DIVA WOMAN and I didn't know I was singing the wrong thing until I read this thread. I guess because Mary Testa is just plain amazing. I hope this isn't the only song that she sings in the show (same with Jackie). I'm hoping for a Tony nom for either of them in '08 even though its a long way off.

If everyone--including Douglas Carter Beane, who lets slip that this is purely a for-hire writing job--hates the movie so much, why are they doing it?

Oh, and the Perez Hilton quote reeks badly of pure desperation.

this looks like so much fun. i kinda wish i had taken my vacation one week later, just so i could see it in previews.

the scene with kerry butler saying how she was going to disguise herself was cute. but jackie hoffman and mary testa doing "evil woman" has got to be magnificent. i saw her in the background with her side pony-tail, but what part does annie golden play?
