Yes Sueleen, especially if you haven't worked in 2 years and you weren't asked to repeat your TONY Award winning performance in the West End.
He was ASKED, he just chose to do this film instead.

Is that the same actress as who was in that other mediocre (though admittedly sometimes charming) gay film Mambo Italiano?
Wow, Sueleen, he really was asked?
And he chose this movie instead?
His agent should be shot.
With the exchange of Euro's to dollars these days it seems like a strange decision.
It's true I haven't seen the movie so I am only being catty about the trailer, and as a Gay Man who has been out for (ahem)
maybe 40 years, this movie's topic seems stupid and a step back.
Maybe Ryan Molloy paid him off.

Not that you'd expect any surprises from this obviously deriviative screenplay, but I find it amusing that the film's "official site" essential walks you through the entire movie.
Oy Vey!

Oy, I'm plotzing. This film, a mix of cliches it is. It's like a mishmosh of every Lifetime movie about the faggelahs. He can't tell his Momma, she meddles, he meets a boy (A shiksa, yet), the families, they don't get along. But then, a baby- what a mitzvah! Of course, no jews will spend $10 to see it- they gave away the plot already, I'll watch it for free on the whatchacallit- the Movieflix.
Oy, somebody get me some selzter already.
