Forum is one of my all time favorite shows. This looks charming, as Forum should be, but even based on this, I'm not sold on Paul Vogt as Pseudolus. It just seems like they said "He's sort of a name, he's fat, funny and gay...Nathan Lane!" I wish they would have gone a different way with it. That's the magic of that character. Anybody can play it. I'm still sad that Carol Burnett never did it in the last revival.

I loved the Broadway revival in the mid 90s. I saw it with both Nathan Lane and Whoopie Goldberg and I have to say I actually preferred Whoopie. She was a hoot.
