CFK is right. They were all SO excited to be there. You could tell. They were all laughing and smiling all the time, whispering to each other when they were sitting in the chairs and holding hands and hugging a lot, even high fiving each other. Kristen Lee Kelly was practically bouncing around the stage. Jesse was having the time of his life twirling around during Santa Fe. Adam and Daphne were so cute and familar with each other during their songs. I have never heard a Goodbye Love so emotional as the one on Monday night. It was obvious that it was more then just acting, but their real emotions signing through. MANY people were crying during the final Seasons of Love. Trust me, they gave it their all.

Is there going to be a dvd? It'll probably run on pbs, seeing as that is where "Piazza" is going to air. I hope there is.
The video is *so* great! I'm at work and haven't been able to listen to the sound, but, I've *watched* it twice through already. :)
I'm prepared to potentially get skewered over this... and, I swear, I'm *not* a fangirl... but, a couple of things I noticed about Idina Monday night...
1) I was sitting all the way over on the right, in the second row, and she and Taye were sitting right in front of us on the corner of the stage... as soon as she sat down, she looked down, visibly concerned that she was blocking us... throughout the show she was constantly trying to edge her seat back to get as far out of the way as possible.
2) Idina and Taye clapped more for the other performers than I noticed anybody else on stage doing. [Of course, they were right in front of me, so, I may not have noticed the others as much, but, it was enough that I did notice it with them.]
I've seen a lot of people commenting that she didn't look happy to be there, but, I've got say, she definitely won *me* over.
It seemed to me that Idina and Taye were the most "stressed" about the whole thing (and, again, I have no special insight except that I found myself watching them a lot)... they (especially Taye) referred to their notes a lot while they were sitting... I kind of felt like they were in a sort of hard middle ground between the ensemble and the principal cast... Maureen is certainly high-profile, but, in terms of time performing, is one of the smaller main roles... as is Benny. It seemed like they had more time in between being ON to potentially get nervous/anxious... especially sitting on stage the whole time...
I don't know if that makes any sense....
Let's not forget to thank Ken Kleiber of "That's Kentertainment!" either! He's the one that filmed and edited the video as well as conducted the interviews.
Great job, Ken! :)
I just keep watching that video over and over.
It was such an exciting performance. I LOVE having this 'keepsake' of the event!
It was an amazing night!

Wow, that made my day! It's saved to my favorites, so I'll be watching that about...every day? Incredible. I love these people.
THANK YOU CRAIG AND KENTERTAINMENT.
I would give anything to have been there.

omg!!! This was beyond amazing!! Thank you sooooo much!! I'm going to go watch it again! LOL.
I seriously needed this after the past two days of kicking myself in the a** for not sucking up and buying a ticket. Thanks to whoever was responsible for getting it up here and so quickly!

I didn't go but watching that, the two people that seemed to have the most energy and excitement were Wilson and Jesse.
And as many times as I've watched it already, I keep getting chills and teary eyed.
And "SH*T! I forgot how fast you were" will never fail to make me smile.

Oh, trust me, they all had tons of energy and excitement. Kristen looked like she was having a blast, and so did Anthony. And Daphne was out to prove that she still was the best, despite what Chris Columbus thinks. She definitely proved it. =D
Aw, that was great! I loved Jesse's little exclamation there...
Yeah to me Wilson and Jesse had the most chemistry and looked like they were so close and just having SO much fun- more than anyone else (not implying that others weren't having fun) they were adorable!
I can't beleive anybody would insinuate that someone who dropped a line did it becasue it "meant nothing" to them - especially as IN THE VIDEO the comment is made that they were surprised at their rehearsal (which I think they got two days of) with the fact that they'd be doing the show instead of singing at stands.
I thought the goof ups were sweet - most of them happened when people got over excited - especially Adams dropping of nearly a whole verse during the song "Rent" - while Idina and Daphne tried to feed him the line while laughing. CLEARLY he knows that song, but in the moment...
Or Idina forgetting her next line during Over The Moon after she'd made a playful show of confronting Taye during the "Benny" sequence - she was having so much fun that it just... wandered away.
I thought the cutest was Adam using the script during the beginning of "Happy New Year", realizing he didn't need it once he got going, balling it up and chucking it into the crowd.
I'm glad they did most of the show leaving their scripts at the sideline - if we had to have a couple of missed lines, so be it - I loved how much they emotionally connected onstage without them. And scenes like the fight before "Goodbye Love" were just...intense.
After that my dad is sooooooooooooooooooo mad that he did not give us the money to go see that.
