I have to admit it. I loved the video. Yes I wish there was more, but I started clapping for the performers and then caught myself. I wish Iowa was closer to NYC so I could go see Mary Poppins.

The clip is great..I have noticed a change in costume for Mary in "Chim Chimeny" she is wearing the RED "Step in time" coat instead if the black one...is that a mistake or one of the changes?

The promo video is weak (nothing against BWW). Where's "Temper, Temper"-the supposed highlight of the show?

I did not like this at all. It almost makes me want to reconsider my desire to see the show.

i reeeeeeeeeally hope people aren't basing their opinions of the sow on this video clip. it doesn't do the show justice very much - even though those are two great songs.

NYCboi23, why do you call TEMPER TEMPER the "highlight"? I would have thought one of the more familiar tunes like, for example, Supercalifragilisticexpialidocius or Chim Chim Cheree, to be that. TEMPER TEMPER has been discussed a great deal because of the issues some people had with it scaring kids.
Having seen the show in London, the video preview sent a shiver of delight up my spine. I loved Gavin Lee in the role in London, and I'm hoping to get to see him in New York.

I thought that was a great representation of the show. The 2 songs featured are the most well known of the show. People, like myself, who saw this as a kid, can remember childhood memories again.
Geez, you want more songs? Why not just put the whole musical on the clips to satisfy everyone on this post. Then people don't have to go see the show. It's just to bring people to see the show. Pretty much focusing on the parents who saw this as kids. You don't put everything on a preview clip. That's like those movie trailers that give away the entire movie.

The preview vid on the actual Poppins page seems a bit longer, and is not totally different, but isn't spliced all funny.

There's one quick shot of Mary grinding her hips....
Does this bother everyone as much as it did me?

Thank you theatrediva. Thank you. The first time I noticed it... (A... er.... 'clip' of the OLC) I flipped out and rewound it. Then I pointed it out to my friend. Mary Poppins gettin' freaky up in the New Amsterdam.

Good then, it wasn't just me.
Didn't anyone stop and say, "You know, I don't think Mary would grind like a stripper.."
I suprised Disney left it in.

That is, again, what I thought. My literal words being "Wtf? Mary Poppins, this isn't prom night. It's Disney. Lets make this Bert/Mary relationship SUPER obvious."
But if you look in back, some of the cast does it too.
