I just happened to notice that there is a new preview video for ACA. It's a little different format than the other preview videos, but still a nice look at the show.
A CATERED AFFAIR Preview
Great video--I love Tom's quote that it's a small musical, but a big play.
I really enjoyed the video. It really seems like a deep emotional experience, and some times that is just what the theater doctor orders, at least for me.

It looks and sounds gorgeous!
After watching this, I regret I didn't see it on my NYC trip in March. Reminds me very much of "Grey Gardens" and "Light in the Piazza."

This just confirms that I don't want to see this, unfortunately. The music sounds dreadful.

Ps. The music sounds pretty good, based on the clips. It's a shame that it seems the whole thing doesn't come together as a show.
Well, some feel that it doesn't while others feel that it very much does.
To those who have seen the show:
is the section of "Coney Island" with the entire cast singing (shown in the video preview) a reprise or is it contained within the same song that Harvey sings? Thanks!
Wow, looks gorgeous and Faith Prince really does seem completely lost in character. I'm just so used to her sort of broad comedy that it's so nice to see her have a go at this quiet, touching role.
After seeing this clip, I'm really looking forward to seeing the show come June.
And I agree with you, Ljay, re Wopat. Though Cavenaugh steals my heart every time I see him.
I think I need to see this show, judging from what I saw in that video.
I didn't expect moving scenery (I didn't think Doyle would allow it), but I'm glad its there. It looks nice.
