I often listen to music on my iPad as I surf the net. In the last few weeks, as soon as I log on to BWW, my music shuts off. This ONLY happens when I connect to BWW. Has anyone else encountered this problem and does anyone know why it's happening?

Haven't seen that one, but I only stream on the iPad in a place where I don't read BWW
I have seen another. Just after a post is added that changes the number of pages, the post will appear in the thread listing under "last comment" but if you click on it, you get to an apparently final page (no "next page" in the page listing) where the post is missing. If you manually change the URL to the next page, you will find it, but until one more post is posted, you can't get there with the navigation buttons.

I've been having the same problem. My thought is that it's a specific video or ad that's trying to auto-play or something which the music player senses and turns off. Doesn't happen 100% of the time, but 95%.
My big BWW tech issue is the added space when you quote a message. So irritating and not everyone removes it so posts end up with a lot of empty space. Or they don't notice the lower quotes and put their post within them so it's in italics making it hard to tell what is the quote and what is new.
JustAnotherNewYorker - That's been happening for years. It's annoying. You can also see the "hidden" post by hitting reply to message and it'll show up. Then just hit return to message board if you don't want to actually post.

I wonder if the sound issue is because some of the ads are webm or html5 and so can encode sound, so the browser is pausing your music to allow for that sound...

Morning all!
The quote issue has been fixed (no more extra spaces!)
We're testing a tweak now to repeat the last message from the previous page on the top of the next page to see if that helps.
and are looking into the music stopping issue. I agree w/ the theory that it's advertising related, but we're checking w/ our partners there to see if there's a way to indicate we're not playing audio through 'em.
