Background Noises On Cast Recordings

After listing to the millions of CDs that I'm sure we all love, there are always little things that I notice that are not part of the music. For example I always hear someone cough in the background of Caroline Or Change. During Barbara Cook's Glitter and Be Gay, I always hear music sheet shuffling and people shifting in their seats.
My favorite is in the revival of Kiss Me Kate, during Amy Spanger's Always True To You, she sings "There's a wealthy Hindu priest, who's a wolf to say the least" and you can hear an almost scream in the background, as if someone was howling.
Anyone else notice and listen for anything like this?

On the Merrily We Roll Along OBC at several points you can hear what sounds like a page turning...
Can't think of any others at the moment.

On the original "Company" recording, you hear a donkey braying during the segment where the entire cast sings "We LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE you" and holds love for a long time.
Wait . . . that was Elaine Stritch singing off key. Never mind.

Posted: 1/11/06 at 7:32amI keep the "snaps, crackles, and pops" of the many CDs I burned from my LPs and I ignore them.

Posted: 1/11/06 at 7:37amIf I remember correctly, at the end of Another Pyramid (Aida), someone mumbles something. It doesn't sound like it belongs there.

Posted: 1/11/06 at 7:51amI do love Elaine, but MAN, they should have told her to back away from the mike. She's the loudest person in the entire ensemble on that note.

Posted: 1/11/06 at 1:41pmThe horn player cracks a note in The Producers overture. It's near the beggining...the last note of "I wanna be a produ-CER." I'm surprised they kept it in.

Actually you can tell at one point where the sound engineer is trying to tone her down. And if you watch the Company documentary, you can see that Stritch puts so much power into the group songs, that by the time her solo comes up, her voice is exhausted and she can't sing it.
