re: Backstage at The Little Mermaid with Sherie Rene Scott

My favorite would have to be: "I really take it to the next level. I like to yawn and be nearly asleep on stage."

Anyone else think she could be a FABULOUS Mame?

And, wait, why would it matter if "Mermaid" and "Awakening" happened on the same night?
Some people paint, some people sew, I meddle.

"I'm sorry. I feel like a total idiot. Do you know why? Just like, as a day off? "

They never have a show on Mondays. It's their day off.

"And, wait, why would it matter if "Mermaid" and "Awakening" happened on the same night?"

It wouldn't. They were asking about her one woman benefit show (You May Now Worship Me) which is taking place next Monday night at the Eugene O'Neill Theater, home of Spring Awakening.

"She assists her husband, who owns Ghostlight Records or Shh-k-boom Records (I can't remember which one!), in making sure things run smoothly for his broadway recording label."

They own/run both Ghostlight Records and Sh-k-boom.

(formerly bronte604) "You really just love money and power and capitalism? You know they're never going to love you back." "Things happen for the best...I don't even believe that myself."

are sean palmer and sierra boggess the only ones with the pictures of them that they can sign and send to fans? They are all over the door of Sherie's dressing room. Does anyone else in the cast have those?

I thought she had a little more washed out makeup to make her look paler but that might be the lighting too. Also i love the lyiing thing too. It goes with the remark from the opening night video where she goes I hate choildren evern though she lying there cause i know she does love them
hahahha
Also its funny that I would see you here zepka102 of all places hahahha

haha she is really funny, I love her dry sense of humor. It also made me feel better to hear her explain why she isn't the nicest person ever at the stage door. I've never seen her, but i've heard some nasty stories, and I'm glad she sort of explained it with her kid, and how she looks old haha.

i do also find that weird that she has to start getting ready at 10 am for a 3:00 pm show. what DOES she do between shows on 2 show days??

She is so hilarious. If anything can get me to see this show, it's that.

She seriously gets into mic and makeup at 10 AM for a 3 PM show?

I think that's one of the best backstage videos Broadway.com ever did. I really like how she touched on the stage door thing. So many people here have said she was rude, and now she explains herself and hopefully more people will understand.

Sh-K-Boom is for solo ventures and Ghostlight is for cast recordings.

That video was hilarious. She has the best sense of humor.

she seems very down to earth. i like that about her. i agree with the whole camera thing. sometimes ill ask actors to sign if the crowd isnt too large or if i really want to tell them how amazing they were...but i agree. they should go home and see their families.
