I'm pretty sure the 10 AM thing was a joke, too...
LOVED both videos! She was just as funny when she did the backstage video for "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels".
Hilarious!

Can someone please clarify this for me: She says she's getting ready for a 3:00 show, but at the beginning she says when she opens the door "Cameras. Just what I love on a two-show day." If it's a two-show day, wouldn't the show be at 2:00?

"It's the only thing that hasn't been in fashion... Everyone should have one. A giant, giant ass!"

That's why the more I think about this, the more I think she was kidding around at some point. I really couldn't see her bopping about backstage at the Lunt-Fontanne for five hours in costume.

omg, I never knew she was so goddamn hilarious!
What a wonderful video, now I wish I could see her show on Monday even more, she has a perfect deadpan timing, reminds me of Nellie McKay who deadpanly said everyone in the threepenny cast was mean to her and she wasn't having a good time and when, on the red carpet at the Tony's, asked what she was wearing she looked down and replied "a dress."
"If artists were machines, then I'm just a different kind of machine...I'd probably be a toaster. Actually, I'd be a toaster oven because they're more versatile. And I like making grilled cheese" -Regina Spektor
"That's, like, twelve shows! ...Or seven." -Crazy SA Fangirl
"They say that just being relaxed is the most important thing [in acting]. I take that to another level, I think kinda like yawning and...like being partially asleep onstage is also good, but whatever." - Sherie Rene Scott

not to be rude, because i really don't mean it the way it'll probably sound, but why is Ursula's role given the lead role main dressing room, when Ariel is the lead?
Shes an amazingly talented performer though!

My guess would be because she's Sherie Renee Scott, who's now originating her third leading role in a musical, one of which she was nominated for a Tony for. Boggess is making her Broadway debut. Sherie probably has more clout than Boggess. It's also possible that Boggess offered it to her.

Why does she have the big room?
Tony nominee, 3rd leading role, record company mogul...
Or she's got one helluvan agent.

Why does she have the big dressing room?
Well that "giant, giant ass" can't fit anywhere else

Yea, I'd assume its for the ease of getting her into the most intricate costume in the show.
God, her waving off the balcony at the end literally made. my. life.
Love sherie.

No, it has nothing to do with the costume. That could be done in smaller rooms, but more importantly, her dressers strap on her full-blown tentacle situation in a chamber just offstage. She leaves her dressing room in just the gown, gloves, and padded ass =)
It's what others have said: her clout and position in terms of industry star wattage. She's the biggest "name" in the cast.

Sort of off topic but does anyone know how long she plans to be part of Mermaid?
I believe the original cast is there for a year.
