Just got back from an incredible concert. Barbara Cook had a throat infection but you wouldn't know it. She was in fine voice and sang many songs that she's never sung before, including many Sondheim's.

Here's the setlist:

1. Something’s Coming (from “West Side Story”)
2. Never Never Land (from “Peter Pan”)
3. Surrey With A Fringe On Top (from “Oklahoma”)
4. Long Before I Knew You (from "Bells Are Ringing")
5. I Fall In Love Too Easily (from “Anchors Aweigh”)
6. Nobody Else But Me (from “Showboat”)
7. Some Other Time (from “On The Town”)
8. No One Is Alone (from “Into The Woods”)
9. You’re What I Need (from "She's My Baby")
10. One More Kiss (from “Follies”)
11. Goodbye For Now (from “Reds”)
12. In Buddy’s Eyes (from “Follies”)
13. I Wish I Could Forget You (from “Passion”)
14. You Could Drive A Person Crazy (from “Company”)
15. Don’t Ever Leave Me (from "Sweet Adeline")
16. All The Things You Are (from "Very Warm For May")
17. Lover Come Back To Me (from "The New Moon")
18. This Nearly Was Mine (from “South Pacific”)
19. No More (from “Into The Woods”)
20. Make Our Garden Grow (from “Candide”) with surprise guest Kelli O’Hara, Sebastian Arcelus, NY Gay Men’s Chorus, Canticum Novum Singers and the Brooklyn Youth Chorus
*ENCORE* Anyone Can Whistle (from “Anyone Can Whistle”)

Something is stirring, Shifting ground... It's just begun. Edges are blurring All around, And yesterday is done.

I absolutely agree GClef2, and live is even more amazing. Did anyone else on here go?

I didn't actually go, but my friend sang WITH her yesterday. He is 12 years old and sings with the Brooklyn Youth Chorus.

To be consistent with show sources...

9. You're What I Need (from "She's My Baby" 192re: Barbara Cook at Carnegie Hall - No One Is Alone [originally written for, and dropped from, "A Connecticut Yankee" 1927]

15. Don't Ever Leave Me (from "Sweet Adeline" 1929)

16. All The Things you are (from "Very Warm For May" 1939)

17. Lover, Come Back To Me (from "The New Moon" 192re: Barbara Cook at Carnegie Hall - No One Is Alone [The correct title should show a comma after the name "Lover."]

Also, Song #20 is incorrectly stated. It was "Make Your Garden Grow" from CANDIDE.

Ms. Cook is a treasure. I have a recording of her Carnegie Hall concert from way back with her singing "Mr.Snow" and "Vanilla Ice Cream". PHENOMENAL

She says it will be recorded but not the show last night. Sounds like she might be taking this on tour?

Hey, y'all.
I was there, too.
Lovely, lovely, lovely.
They don't come much lovelier than Barbara Cook.

By the way, Bulldog, the song is "Make Our Garden Grow". Not "Make YYYour Garden Grow."

Can we all just reflect for a moment on the fact that Barbara is...79?

I had a great time at the concert. Ms. Cook was AMAZING. Kelli O'Hara, Sebastian Arcelus and the three choruses sounded AMAZING.

And NuggetMonkeys, I'll admit to being a little starstruck by Mr. Sondheim as well. Just seeing him was an experience.
