Barrett Foa to replace Jesse Tyler Ferguson in

http://www.playbill.com/news/article/100276.html

"...Foa will assume the role of Leaf Coneybear from original cast member Jesse Tyler Ferguson — who plays his final performance July 23..."

This is great casting news! But I can't see him in the role as amazing as Mr. Ferguson was. But he'll do great!

Mr. Ferguson will be on a television show called "The Class", I believe. I can't wait!

Wow! Then I might be seeing him the 24! His first performance!
...What happened next, was stranger still, a woman breathless and afraid, appeared out of the night, completely dressed in white. She had a secret she would tell, of one who had mistreated her. Her face and frightened gaze, my mind cannot erase...But then she ran from view. She looked so much like you...

YESSSSSSSSSS!!!! THIS IS SOOO WONDERFUL! Finally an actor leaves a great role and good fan base and moves over to another show, and a totally different character.... but what will Jesse do?! he better stay on broadway... these are two of my favorite broadway actors and I am so happy...

It's been posted already that Jesse will be starring in a new sitcom in the fall.

"Then I might be seeing him the 24! His first performance!"

The 24th is a Monday, there is no performance. Barrett's first performance is the 25th.

It's a new one:

"Ferguson will appear this fall on the new CBS sitcom "The Class" opposite fellow stage folk Jason Ritter (Third), Andrea Anders (The Graduate) and Heather Goldenhersh (Doubt). The actor has also appeared on stage in On The Town, On The Twentieth Century, Where Do We Live?, Little Fish and Newyorkers."

Mr. FOAnatic-

On this thread: https://forum.broadwayworld.com/readmessage.cfm?page=2&thread=899991&startthread=2243258&boardname=bway

You mentioned:
"I talked to Barrett about his next project but I can't publicize it yet.
Check his website blog and he'll post it soon."

and

"Barrett has said many times that his next step is to create an original role on Broadway.
Besides, why would he leave a leading role on Broadway to replace a supporting role?
It makes no sense"

Now, in this thread you say:

"I love him to death but I still don't understand why he's giving up a leading role to replace a featured one."

Now, THAT doesn't make sense.

It's obvious that you did not know what he was doing until this thread came about.

*sigh*

No need to explain. I can hear the excuses in my head already.

Miss Q,

Oh how lovely for you to think you know it all. Especially since you've no clue how Avenue Q cast members cringe at the sound of your name.

But, everytime I go into the city I stop by to see Barrett and talk to him about upcoming projects. He had mentioned to me the auditions offered to him by his agency but that nothing was confirmed hence why I couldn't publicize anything.

I should have been more specific. I spoke to Barrett about POSSIBLE future project(s) but couldn't publicize anything because I wasn't sure which he had chosen.

I did know he had an audition for SPELLING BEE and was secretly hoping he'd gone with another role since I would rather see him originate a role on Broadway since I know he's destined for a TONY.

So, I admit my grammatical mistake.

Well, as long as you know your mistake.

Oh, and please- they cringe when they hear my name? That is way too funny. I've mailed some of them and have gotten lovely letters and headshots back from most of them. I've even got letters back from ones who I didn't ask to write back.

Plus, my friend is going this weekend and she is go...nevermind. I have no idea what I'm trying to prove to you. It's a worthless cause.
