Barrow Street Theatre closed?

Received this email this morning from Sweeney Todd. It seems to indicate that Barrow Street Theatre has closed? Am I reading this correctly? Was it public knowledge that it was closing? Anyone know why? This makes me sad as I had two of my greatest off-broadway experiences (Buyer and Cellar, Sweeney Todd) at this theatre. In fact, Buyer and Cellar was my first off-broadway show. I’m going to try to post a screenshot of the email, but I’ve found that my pics disappear after less than 24 hours. Don’t know what I’m doing wrong.

This was announced toward the start of the year.

Ars Nova Finds a New Theater in Greenwich Village
