I saw the show at the ART this past fall. It was a pretty big mess. I'm glad to see that they're doing readings. I only hope that the readings are so that more work can be done on the piece as opposed to being a backer's audition in hopes of bringing yet another disaster to Broadway or off-Broadway.

I also was fearful I was going to read "musical adaptation" in that article. I think I heard about this last year when it was first concieved.
Love the movie, I think almost anything could make a good play and this story is very smart and a real mind fck (I admit I still don't entirely get it). I wonder they work around the special effects in the film.
