And if he does have any songs left to recycle, and he doesn't like what is done with HIS songs, then he'll take his bat and go home.

Clarifying a couple things:
Jim Steinman is set to write both music and lyrics for 'Batman: The Musical.' David Ives is set to write the book.
Tim Burton is set to direct which I would imagine answers the question about whether or not the tone will be 'Burtonesque' or not.
