Saw the final dress rehearsal of the tour tonight before the first performance on Wednesday. It was fantastic. All the leads are VERY strong!! The show plays very well even in the 3,000 seat cavern that is the Providence Performing Arts Center. I think the tour will be wildly successful

I saw the tour last week and I'm kind of upset about the orchestra. When I read the playbill it listed no string instruments so I checked the pit and that was when I knew for sure there wasn't any. I'm extremely upset because it's a joke in the show where Carole learns how to orchestrate the strings. How can this show not have one violin?
