Posted: 6/30/18 at 2:43pmI won for tonight and have until 4pm to claim my 2 tickets, but sadly think I will pass for today. I was just in the city last night and $$ is a tad tight for me. It's good to know though that this lottery is winnable!

This is probably my top argument against these online lotteries. It takes little-to-no effort to enter them, no time investment, so there is probably a good number of winners who have no real interest (or only a passing interest) in seeing the show (or like this person decide not to go for whatever reason). Maybe requiring credit card info and immediately charging the winners may dissuade this from happening.

I won the lottery today for the matinee! I only got one ticket and it's side Orch in row B. I've seen the show before (years ago with Jessie), but I'm excited to see Melissa's take on the role! Plus, nothing like listening to some Carole King tunes to escape from this heat wave :P
Edit: forgot to add, this was my first time entering the lottery, so I'd say chances are fairly good for people who want to try it!

I won last Saturday matinee. I was on my bus to the city and entered this, Kinky Boots, DEH and MFL and happened to win Beautiful. It was my first time entering any lotteries and I had a free matinee. I had seen the show in Toronto with Chilinda and loved it but wanted to see Melissa if I could. Winning the lottery justified me seeing a show I had already seen over picking something new.
My seats were left orchestra row N. It was great and I love that I got the chance to see it again.
Melissa didn’t stagedoor the matinee but I caught her after the evening performance. Jessica is great as Cynthia too!!
